Sharp Peak's Optimus library occupancy analytics solution approved by Hong Kong Smart Government Innovation Lab

Hong Kong – 30th June 2025 – Sharp Peak Consulting Limited (Sharp Peak), a PropTech system integrator and technology solutions provider in Asia is proud to announce that its Optimus Library Desk and Space Occupancy Analytics Solution has been officially approved by the Hong Kong Smart Government Innovation Lab (Smart LAB).

Smart LAB was established by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer of HKSAR Government in April 2019. Smart LAB provides a platform to connect government departments with the information technology sector to help departments leverage on the innovation and technical solutions from the industry to formulate innovative measures for enhancing the quality and efficiency of public services.

The Optimus solution leverages IoT-powered occupancy sensors and advanced analytics to help libraries and educational institutions manage space usage more effectively. By providing real-time and historical insights into desk and room utilization, the solution enables operators to improve space allocation and ensure fair access to study areas.
